About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Compliance to work closely with the Managing Director-Head of Compliance in upholding the firm's governance framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with a range of regulatory, investor, and internal requirements, including federal, state, and municipal regulations for a nationwide mortgage lender and loan servicer. This role involves the administration of policies and procedures, review of new agreements and updates for compliance, and oversight of various compliance deliverables such as certifications, financial reporting, and audits. The VP will also be involved in coordinating the distribution of annual compliance items, maintaining regulatory policies, and managing corporate authorities. Applicants must demonstrate a high level of initiative, task ownership, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. A BA/BS degree in a business-related field is preferred, along with at least 10 years of experience in loan servicing portfolio management, including knowledge of GSE and CMBS products. The role requires a candidate with a strong working knowledge of loan servicing systems and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel. The VP will also be responsible for managing and developing a team, so leadership and team management experience are important.
