US Corporate Credit Trader
Auto Import<strong>Location: </strong>New York City, United States<br><br><strong>Reports to: </strong>Head of Fixed Income Trading<br><br><strong>Position Overview<br><br></strong>We are expanding our Fixed Income team, the firm’s newest division launched in 2023, and are seeking a US Corporate Credit Trader with deep expertise in US corporate credit markets. In this role, you will drive proprietary trading strategies across investment-grade and high-yield corporate bonds, CDS, leveraged loans, and other related instruments.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Execute proprietary trading strategies in US corporate credit, including IG/HY bonds, CDS, and leveraged loans</li><li>Conduct in-depth analysis of credit spreads, macro/microeconomic developments, and sector trends to identify trading opportunities</li><li>Manage a proprietary risk portfolio with disciplined position sizing, stop-loss adherence, and risk-reward oversight</li><li>Monitor market movements and dynamically adjust trading strategies to capitalize on relative value and market dislocations</li><li>Collaborate with research, risk, and other traders to refine strategies and enhance market insights</li><li>Leverage systematic and algorithmic tools where appropriate to improve trading efficiency and execution<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of proprietary trading experience in US corporate credit, including IG/HY bonds, CDS, and leveraged loans</li><li>Proven track record of generating consistent risk-adjusted returns in a fast-paced trading environment</li><li>Strong quantitative, analytical, and decision-making skills</li><li>Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python, or other platforms for analytics, modeling, and strategy support</li><li>Strategic thinker with ability to interpret complex market and macroeconomic data</li><li>Comfortable operating under pressure and collaborating in a high-performance team</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field; CFA or advanced degree preferred<br><br></li></ul>Powered by JazzHR<br><br>joALnDaZ0o
