Role Description

  • Oversee and manage the overall security operations of the building on a daily basis.
  • Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of all security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and integrated security platforms.
  • Supervise and lead security personnel on shift, including deployment, discipline, and performance monitoring.
  • Enforce security policies, procedures, and standard operating protocols across the building.
  • Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, and breaches in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of security systems and operations to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance, repair, and upgrading of security systems.
  • Ensure all security equipment is operational, maintained, and recorded in maintenance logs.
  • Prepare incident reports, daily occurrence reports, and other required documentation.
  • Liaise with tenants, management, and relevant authorities on security-related matters.
  • Ensure proper access control measures are implemented and enforced for staff, tenants, and visitors.
  • Provide guidance and training to security personnel to maintain high standards of performance and professionalism.
  • Support the implementation of new security initiatives, systems, or improvements within the building.

Qualification

  • Minimum Diploma in Security Management, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with building security systems, including CCTV, access control systems, intrusion alarms, and integrated security platforms.
  • Good understanding of security procedures, risk assessment, and incident management.
  • Possession of relevant security certifications or licenses (as required by local authorities).
  • Ability to lead, supervise, and manage a team effectively with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Competent in report writing, documentation, and basic computer applications.
  • Able to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays, if required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies.
  • Physically fit and capable of carrying out security duties when necessary.
