Statewide SNAP-Ed Program Lead

Washington State University is seeking a Statewide SNAP-Ed Program Lead to join our team and lead our efforts in delivering nutrition education and resources to underserved populations across the state. Develop and implement strategies for promoting healthy lifestyles and addressing food insecurity in the community. Coordinate and oversee nutrition education programs for underserved populations across the state. Lead and manage a team of program coordinators, educators, and volunteers. Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to identify and address nutrition needs in the community. Develop and manage program budgets, including grant funding and resources. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments. Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, and other relevant stakeholders. Plan and facilitate workshops, events, and other outreach activities to promote healthy eating and nutrition education. Develop and distribute educational materials and resources to program participants. Stay current on nutrition research and trends to inform program development and implementation. Represent the program and organization at community events and conferences. Advocate for policies and initiatives that support healthy eating and food security in the community. Collaborate with other program leads and team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness across programs. Maintain accurate records and reports for program data and evaluation purposes.
