Squarespace Website Build — Physician Personal Brand Site (Copy & Design System Ready)
Auto ImportJob Description:
I'm a physician launching a personal brand site and need an experienced Squarespace developer to execute a build from a fully-specified design system and finished copy. This is not a discovery or strategy project — the creative direction is locked. I need someone who can implement cleanly and handle the technical/design details that make a Squarespace site feel custom rather than templated.
What's already done:
Full copy for every page (written, edited, ready to drop in)
Site architecture: Home, About, Clinical Expertise (with 4 subpages), Publications & Speaking, Work With Me
Design system: navy/cream color palette, Playfair Display (headers) + Jost (body) typography
Reference examples of the aesthetic I'm going for
What I need from you:
Build out the full site in Squarespace (7.1) using the above
Custom CSS as needed to hit the typography and spacing precisely — this shouldn't look like a stock template
Source or integrate professional photography (I'll provide final images; may need placeholder/stock in interim sections)
Mobile responsiveness fully tested across breakpoints
Basic on-page SEO setup (meta descriptions, title tags, alt text structure)
Contact form and any necessary integrations (e.g., booking/calendar link — will specify)
One round of revisions included after initial build
Ideal candidate:
Strong portfolio of Squarespace sites specifically (not general web design) — please include 2-3 links
Comfortable with custom CSS within Squarespace's constraints
Experience with personal brand or professional services sites (healthcare, coaching, consulting, legal — anything where tone and trust matter)
Can work efficiently from a finished spec without needing extensive back-and-forth on creative decisions
Timeline: Looking to launch within 3-4 weeks of hire.
To apply, please include: your Squarespace portfolio links, your estimated timeline, and one sentence on how you'd approach custom typography implementation in Squarespace's editor.
