This contract opportunity near Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an experienced RN, LVN, or Certified School Nurse (CSN) to help conduct vision and hearing screenings and provide essential nursing assistance across schools with varied caseloads and student ages.

Key Qualifications:

• Active California license as a CSN, RN, or LVN (required)
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Proficient with hearing and vision screenings
• Ability to work collaboratively with school nurses, educators, and staff
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Reliability and readiness to start as soon as possible

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform state-mandated hearing and vision screenings for students
• Support the school nursing team with daily functions and student care
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality
• Communicate findings and care plans to teachers, families, and administration
• Adapt to varying school environments and student needs
• Follow the established student calendar, working 6 hours per day
