[Remote] Electrical Design Engineer

Verto People is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a fully remote design engineering role focused on complex power generation systems for mission-critical infrastructure. The role involves supporting the design of large-scale islanded power generation systems and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to solve non-standard engineering challenges. Responsibilities Support the design of large-scale islanded power generation systems Work on complex generation assets, electrical infrastructure and power plant systems Contribute to engineering solutions for rapid load-change and mission-critical power requirements Review and develop design concepts for non-standard power generation applications Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary engineering teams Apply electrical design engineering judgement to review technically challenging project work Support problem-solving across combined cycle, simple cycle and related generation environments Skills Around 7+ years' electrical engineering experience Experience with power generation, electrical power systems or generation assets Combined cycle power generation or simple cycle power generation experience is highly desirable Islanded power systems experience is highly desirable Benefits Fully remote working 100% employer-paid healthcare for employee and family Vision and dental coverage Unlimited PTO 4% 401(k) match Company Overview Verto People is a leading recruitment company specialising in the Engineering and Software fields across Europe and North America.
