Role Overview

  • Job Summary: Acts as a senior clinical leader bridging facility-level nursing teams and corporate operations to standardize care, mentor local Directors of Nursing (DONs), and enforce health standards for RegalCare of MA.
  • Reports To: VP of Clinical

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all regional facilities adhere to state, federal, and CMS guidelines, managing survey preparations and state health inspections.
  • Clinical Quality &
    • Audits: Monitor patient care standards, conduct regular documentation and chart reviews, and implement corrective action plans.
    • Staff Leadership &
    • Training: Mentor local Director of Nursing coordinate regional training curricula, and assist with clinical recruitment needs.
    • Budget &
    • Operations Support: Collaborate with executive directors to manage nursing budgets, staffing ratios, and medical resource allocation.
Qualifications &
  • Requirements
  • Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
    • Master’s Degree (MSN or MHA) often preferred.
    • Experience: 5+ years of progressive nursing experience, including 3+ years in multi-facility or facility-level nursing leadership (such as a DON or Resident Services Director).
    • Travel: Regular local or regional travel between assigned facilities. [1]
