Auto ImportAdviniaCare Waterview Villa is seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team! As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our facility. If you have a passion for working with seniors and a strong background in customer service, we encourage you to apply for this ful-time, 40 hours/week opprotunity.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate telephone while utilizing proper phone etiquette
- Receive and direct all persons entering the facility to appropriate areas
- Responsible for general typing and secretarial functions
- Distribute paychecks per policy and procedure
- Receive and direct incoming mail and deliveries appropriately
- Demonstrate correct safety techniques
- Respect and take care of facility equipment and not wasteful of supplies
- Contribute to and promote resident and family relations
- Knowledgeable in facility’s Privacy Practice and complies by protecting all residents’ health information
- Other duties as assigned by manager
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
- Must be knowledgeable of administrative practices, procedures, and guidelines
- Must possess a cheerful personality and be able to work harmoniously with other personnel
- Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
- Has knowledge of personnel application procedures
- Must be able to type 50 words per minute
- Is knowledgeable of all office equipment
