<p>Please share the resume to Neeraja@dewsoftware.com</p><p><br></p><p>Job Title: Python Developer Fullstack</p><p>Location: McLean, VA - Onsite</p><p>Duration: 6+ Months Contract</p><p><br></p><p>Job Description:</p><p>Must Have Qualifications:</p><p>Strong Python Developer with strong experience in Python development,SQL, and database technologies.</p><p>Must be a strong communicator.</p><p>Java experience is nice to have</p><p><br></p><p>Required Experience & Education</p><p>7 –10 years of professional software development experience.</p><p>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).</p><p><br></p><p>Core Technical Skills (Python & Backend)</p><p>Strong professional experience with Python (backend development).</p><p><br></p><p>Proficiency with build/test tools: Pytest, Unittest.</p><p>Strong experience building and consuming RESTful API web services.</p><p>Experience with data manipulation and analysis using data frames (e.g., Pandas).</p><p>Proficiency with build/test tools: Gradle, FitNesse.</p><p>Proven ability to perform R&D using AI, including evaluating AI-assisted approaches,rapidly prototyping solutions, and validating outcomes (e.g., prompt engineering,model/tool evaluation, and integrating AI capabilities into workflows or applications).</p><p>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.</p><p>Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</p><p><br></p><p>Database & Data Skills</p><p>Outstanding database skills with strong understanding of RDBMS (e.g., MS SQL) and datamodeling.</p><p>Ability to write advanced SQL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, and data analysis.</p><p>Experience working with structured and semi-structured data formats: XML and JSON.</p><p>DevOps / SDLC / Tooling</p><p>Understanding of Docker containers in the development process.</p><p>Understanding of application lifecycle management.</p><p>Ability to use CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., JIRA, Jenkins) to build and deploy applications.</p><p>Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.</p><p><br></p><p>Preferred / Nice-to-Have (Java, BI Tools)</p><p>Experience with BI tools such as Tableau.</p><p>Past experience with Snowflake data warehouse.</p><p>Java proficiency (preferred), particularly for AI/ML development and automation.</p><p><br></p><p>Soft Skills</p><p>Flexible and versatile; able to adapt quickly to new environments and work across projects.</p>
