Project Manager / Scrum Master (Mid-Level) AI & Automation Delivery

Role Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead delivery across AI, RPA, and digital transformation projects.

You will lead day-to-day delivery teams across multiple workstreams, ensuring projects are delivered with pace, control, and quality. Working closely with Programme Managers / Technical Leads, you will align to wider programme priorities while owning execution within your projects.

This role operates within a fast-paced “factory” model, delivering multiple concurrent initiatives using agile and hybrid approaches.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Execution

• Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple projects/workstreams
• Run agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)
• Manage backlogs, sprint plans, and delivery milestones
• Track progress using delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, milestones)
• Support release and deployment activities (CI/CD, DevOps coordination)

Team Leadership

• Lead delivery teams day-to-day, driving accountability and performance
• Remove blockers and ensure delivery commitments are met
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, data, AI/ML, business)

Project Management & Governance

• Own scope, schedule, budget, RAID and status reporting
• Maintain accurate plans, RAID logs, and project artefacts
• Prepare for and contribute to governance forums and project reviews
• Ensure delivery quality, compliance, and documentation standards

RAID & Change Control

• Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies
• Drive structured change control for scope, timeline, and cost changes
• Ensure consistency across plans, tools, and reporting

Stakeholders & Programme Alignment

• Work with clients and stakeholders to define and deliver outcomes
• Act as Product Owner where required (backlog ownership, prioritisation)
• Partner with Programme Managers / Delivery Leads to align priorities, manage dependencies, and escalate risks

AI & Automation Delivery

• Support delivery of AI, RPA, and data-driven solutions
• Translate business needs into structured backlog items
• Work with technical teams across AI/ML, data, and integration
• Understand core concepts (APIs, cloud platforms, data pipelines)

Tools & Reporting

• Use tools such as Jira, Planner, MS Project, or similar
• Maintain a single, accurate version of delivery data across systems

Candidate Profile

Experience

• 3–5 years in project management / scrum master roles
• Experience delivering digital, automation, or technology projects
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams

Skills

• Strong Agile/Scrum and hybrid delivery experience
• Solid project governance (RAID, planning, reporting, change control)
• Ability to lead teams and bridge business and technical stakeholders
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable

• Experience with AI, RPA, or data projects
• Exposure to cloud platforms, APIs, or integration delivery
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps
• Agile or PM certifications (Scrum Master, PRINCE2, PMP)
