Project Estimator

Seeking an experienced Civil Construction Estimator to develop project budgets, bids, and preconstruction plans for site development, earthwork, underground utilities, and paving.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope from bid documents and develop accurate budgets.
• Estimate self-perform site work, earthwork, utilities, and paving.
• Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor/vendor bids.
• Prepare proposals, RFIs, schedules, and agreements.
• Coordinate with Owners, PMs, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain historical cost and subcontractor databases.
• Set up awarded projects and complete handoff to the construction team.
• Support project closeout and job reconciliation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of civil construction estimating experience.
• Strong experience with underground utilities and site development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with PlanSwift, Procore, and Agtek Earthwork 4D.
• Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
