Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boynton Beach, Florida is currently seeking a passionate and experienced PRN Physical Therapist to help residents improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop customized treatment goals and methods
• Implement treatment plans and complete timely, accurate documentation
• Apply therapeutic techniques such as gait training, balance improvement, muscle strengthening, posture control, and mobility support
• Fit and train residents on orthotic and prosthetic devices
• Select and apply physical modalities suited to each resident’s individual needs
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure effective care plans
• Adapt therapy programs to residents’ changing conditions
• Instruct and supervise therapy aides and supportive staff in accordance with professional and state standards
• Participate in care conferences and resident progress reviews
• Train facility staff on therapy practices and procedures
• Maintain therapy equipment and request repairs or replacements when needed
• Promote a compassionate and respectful environment for residents and their families

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Florida Physical Therapist license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
