What You Will Do

• Work in one or more of the following fulfillment center roles as assigned: Receiving (unloading and processing inbound shipments), Stow (placing items into inventory storage), Pick (pulling specific items to fulfill customer orders), Pack (boxing and labeling orders for shipment), or Ship (sorting packed boxes to the correct outbound carriers)
• Use a handheld scanner or wristband scanner to confirm every item scan throughout your assigned process step
• Maintain a consistent rate of work that meets or exceeds the daily productivity target for your assigned station
• Follow the conveyor path, robotic system interaction rules, and pedestrian safety protocols throughout the building
• Report any damaged products, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to your Area Manager immediately
• Rotate between roles within the fulfillment center as directed by your manager based on daily operational priority
• Complete daily training refreshers and safety stretches at the start of your shift as required by Amazon safety policy
• Keep your work area clean and organized — Amazon facilities operate on a 5S organization system

What You Need

• Physical ability to walk 5 – 15 miles per shift, stand for extended periods, and lift packages up to 49 lbs
• Ability to meet daily productivity targets — Amazon provides clear metrics and real-time feedback on your performance
• Consistent attendance for all scheduled shifts — reliability is the most important performance factor for part-time associates
• Comfortable in a loud, busy, temperature-controlled warehouse environment
• Basic reading and scanning ability — all work is scanner-guided with clear on-screen instructions
• Must be 18 or older — no degree or prior experience required

Nice to Have

• Previous Amazon, UPS, FedEx, or USPS warehouse experience
• Forklift or order picker certification
• Bilingual English/Spanish
