What You ll Do

  • Provide direct neonatal care, including daily rounds on newborns in the Level I nursery
  • Attend deliveries when requested to support delivery team
  • Stabilize and manage neonates requiring higher-level care, facilitating transport to NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia
  • Collaborate with a team of NNPs and neonatologists to deliver exceptional care
  • Participate in the development of the new nursery and contribute to building clinical protocols
  • Support the hospital s mission to provide high-quality, family-centered neonatal services

What You Need

  • Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Minimum 2+ years of NNP clinical experience (excluding RN experience)
  • Ability to work 24-hour shifts, including on-call responsibilities
  • Strong clinical judgment and neonatal care skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

About the Assignment
Join a state-of-the-art, newly opening 10-bed Level I nursery at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Belmont, NC. This unit will handle approximately 600 deliveries annually, with a focus on delivering high-quality neonatal care. The team includes dedicated NNPs and neonatologists working collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for newborns and their families.
