Certified Apartment Staffing is hiring an experienced Porter / Make-Ready Technician for an apartment community in Port Arthur!

MUST HAVE APARTMENT EXPERIENCE

DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT PREVIOUS APARTMENT / MULTIFAMILY EXPERIENCE.

We need someone who understands apartment communities, make-ready turns, grounds upkeep, and the day-to-day expectations of working onsite.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete apartment make-ready and unit-turn duties
• Remove trash and debris from vacant units
• Assist with preparing apartments for new residents
• Paint, patch, caulk, and complete minor repairs
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, and maintenance tasks
• Maintain clean and attractive property grounds
• Keep breezeways, common areas, and amenities clean
• Assist the maintenance team with daily tasks
• Complete punch-list items and other duties assigned by management
• Help maintain excellent curb appeal throughout the community

REQUIREMENTS

• MUST HAVE previous apartment/multifamily experience
• MUST have make-ready/unit-turn experience
• Experience working as an apartment porter, make-ready technician, or maintenance assistant preferred
• Strong painting, cleaning, and basic repair skills
• Able to work independently and stay productive
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable and punctual
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, and work on your feet
• Must be ready to start ASAP
