Field Service Engineer

Job Summary:

Join The company, a global leader in laser precision processing solutions for the PV industry. We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our Malaysia team. In this role, you will be the technical face of the company, responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high-end laser equipment at tier-one solar manufacturing sites. or may need travel as job needs in US or any other location.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Commissioning: Perform mechanical, electrical, or laser processing commissioning for automated equipment.
2. Retrofitting & Troubleshooting: Responsible for the retrofitting and debugging of automated systems; identify, resolve, and categorize technical anomalies for further analysis.
3. Logistics & Inventory: Manage the organized dispatch and shipping of semi-finished equipment and materials on a rotational basis.
4. Testing: Execute relevant commissioning tasks and performance testing to ensure operational standards.

Requirements:

1. Education: Associate degree (Diploma) or above in a STEM-related field. Exceptional candidates with a technical secondary school certificate will also be considered.
2. Mobility: Willingness to travel. Candidates with a valid U.S. Visa will be prioritized.
3. Industry Experience: Prior experience in the automation or laser equipment industry is required.
4. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills with a proven ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
