Claims Service Representative

Type: Contract to Hire

Location: Hybrid in Howell, MI

Schedule: M-F, 8:30-5P (during training); 9:30a-6p or 10:30a-7p (post training)

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer requests from a variety of sources
• Index several Outlook mailboxes, make outbound callouts and complete COI requests
• Assist with first party collections, returned mail call/emails, and incoming voicemails
• Answer inquiries from policy owners and agents fro certificate requests
• Complete Certificate of Insurance (COI) and ID card requests
• Provide timely, quality service to various stakeholders
• Achieve productivity, service, and quality metrics

Skills and Experience:

• College degree preferred, but not required
• 2+ years of related experience required; Knowledge of insurance preferred
• Tech-savvy, with strong communication, active listening and call handling skills

Physical Demands:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team envirionment
• Ability yo sit and/or stand for extended periods of time (75%+)
