- The Radiologic technologist operates CT and X-ray equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications.
- Provides excellent patient care in their assigned area.
- Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams preformed.
- Performs all Quality control checks, as prescribed.
- Maintains accurate QC logs, service records, etc.
- Performs highest quality imaging consistent with prescribed examination: documents and deviation
- Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures
- Investigates promptly and follows up on unusual incidents and communicates with Radiology Leadership
- Takes emergency call as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Current &
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) Certificate
- Current &
- Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General License
- Current BLS certification
