The Boutique Retail Sales Associate will greet customers, understand their needs, and provide styling suggestions and product recommendations. Responsibilities include operating the point-of-sale system, processing transactions, handling returns and exchanges, and keeping the sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked. The role also involves learning product details, assisting with visual merchandising, tagging and organizing inventory, and preparing fitting rooms. The associate will support store promotions, maintain a positive and inclusive shopping experience, and collaborate with team members to meet sales and service goals.<br><strong>Qualifications<br></strong> <ul><li>Strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and close purchases in a boutique setting.</li><li>Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills, including active listening, clear speaking, and a friendly, professional approach.</li><li>Solid Product Knowledge or interest in developing expertise in apparel, accessories, and styling to guide customer choices.</li><li>Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working part-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and maintain store standards throughout the shift.</li><li>Previous experience in retail, fashion, or hospitality is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential.</li><li>Basic math and POS skills, with attention to detail when handling cash and card transactions.</li><li>Collaborative mindset and respect for customers and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.</li></ul>
