<div><strong>Overview</strong><br/><br/>We are seeking a driven Account Manager to lead commercial activities for automotive interior programs, with a strong focus on General Motors. This role is responsible for managing customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring profitability across multiple programs.<br/><br/>The ideal candidate brings a combination of commercial expertise, General Motors experience, and technical understanding of interior components such as instrument panels, door systems, and consoles.<br/><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br/><br/><strong>Customer and Commercial Leadership</strong><br/>Serve as the primary commercial contact for General Motors and other OEM customers. Build strong relationships and act as a trusted partner across all program phases.<br/><br/><strong>Account Growth and Strategy</strong><br/>Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and profitability. Identify new business opportunities and support expansion within key accounts.<br/><br/><strong>Program and Cross Functional Coordination</strong><br/>Act as the central point of contact between the customer and internal teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality. Ensure alignment on program milestones, deliverables, and timelines.<br/><br/><strong>Pricing and Financial Management</strong><br/>Manage all commercial aspects of the account including piece price, tooling, and contract negotiations. Drive financial performance improvements across programs.<br/><br/><strong>Engineering Change Management</strong><br/>Lead commercial discussions for engineering changes and secure appropriate cost recovery or pricing adjustments.<br/><br/><strong>Program Launch Support</strong><br/>Support new product launches to ensure successful execution, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.<br/><br/><strong>Market and Business Insights</strong><br/>Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer strategies. Provide recommendations on growth opportunities, partnerships, and process improvements.<br/><strong>Qualifications</strong><br/><br/><strong>Education</strong><br/>Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field required.<br/>MBA or Master's degree preferred.<br/><br/><strong>Experience</strong><br/>5 to 8 years of experience in account management, sales, or program management within a Tier 1 automotive supplier.<br/>Direct experience working with General Motors is strongly preferred.<br/>Background in automotive interior systems such as instrument panels, door panels, or consoles is highly desired.<br/><br/><strong>Skills and Expertise</strong><br/>Proven experience with OEM purchasing processes, sourcing, and supply chain coordination.<br/>Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience in pricing and negotiations.<br/>Ability to understand manufacturing processes such as molding, stamping, and assembly.<br/><br/>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for executive presentations.<br/>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.<br/><strong>Additional Strengths</strong><br/><br/>Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.<br/>Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.<br/>Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.</div>
